South Africa Safaris Vacations - Destinations 2010

Think of the word safari and then Africa comes to your mind! True, you probably know the type of experience that fits you but you are not sure about the choice and perhaps the best destination for your African Vacation. I should excite you but letting you know that the safaris in Africa are not the same as those vacation holiday tours you do in Spain, Italy or even France. Most travelers to Africa have surprised their loved ones with such a surprise trip. Its totally a new experience in the African bush. So here we go.

This year, South Africa is hosting the World cup but that's not all, this rich country with various national parks boosts of excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The top visited destination for South African vacations and holidays is Kruger National Park, you will see the African Lion and other big five animals, other destinations include Cape Town, Durban, Cape Wine lands and then the Kynsna. South Africa is rated best due to its excellent infrastructure involving the finest of hotels, road networks and high tourism development.

Live Cruise Update: Beach BBQ at Motu Mahana in Taha'a

Note: This week I'm blogging and tweeting live from the Society Islands in French Polynesia. We're sailing aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin from Paul Gauguin Cruises and will also enjoy overnight stays at the InterContinental Resort Tahiti and Le Meridien Bora Bora.

Yesterday we had a blast at Paul Gauguin's beach BBQ on Motu Mahana, off Taha'a. This is probably the prettiest spot we've seen for an event like this. There was plenty of shade, lounge chairs, and tables and chairs. It was easy swimming and snorkeling (no waves at all) and we even swam across to another small motu.

We're in Bora Bora this morning and are about to leave for our shark and ray watching tour. After that we're heading to Le Meridien Bora Bora to spend the evening in a romantic overwater bungalow.

Generational changes in Miami have diminished the anti-Cuba lobby's strength, as have changes in the U.S. capital. This means that 2010 may be the year that everything changes for Cuban tourism and the Europeans, South Americans, and Asians that have taken advantage of the island's charms while Americans stayed home. What better way, then, to get a look at Cuba today than with a visit to where everything began to change just over five and a half decades ago. It was here that Castro surfaced for the first time with his failed attack on the Moncada military barracks in 1953. He wasn't the first revolutionary to cause trouble here: the city's known as cuna de la Revolución ("cradle of the Revolution") for its history of slave uprisings and attempts to overthrow its Spanish oppressors. It's not all political firebrands, though. Santiago is a culturally rich and scenic city that retains the intimate, friendly feel of a provincial capital, with peaceful neighborhoods where men play dominoes outdoors on hilly streets.
