We're leaving for the airport in a few minutes and are heading to the United Kingdom to meet Celebrity Equinox. This will be a short two-day pre-inaugural event so travel agents and members of the media can get to know the ship.We'll be blogging live from Celebrity Equinox starting with her naming ceremony on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. This will be a very different experience for us. We tend to sail very small yachts and ships. Celebrity Equinox will carry nearly 3,000 passengers!
Also, unlike last week's cruise aboard Seabourn Odyssey, which was a paid vacation, this is a media event meant for magazine, newspaper, and website editors. The vibe will be very different but there's no doubt we'll enjoy all of the planned events!
